Let's settle this once and for all: AI has completely take over the world! By miles. To survive this, we need to understand that there is new perspective in this crazy world. Hear me out, "Three Separation of Concerns: Intentions Concern, Implementation Concern and Verification Concern"

#93 2 days ago Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah. Thanks to the Anthropic grant, I can let out all my ideas without thinking about AI credits. Or thinking about using low-cost models. Before, all in on DeepSeek: a month's usage around Rp 700k - Rp 1m. The best. Sangadh. But once I got the Anthropic grant ... masya Allah. Earth and sky! DeepSeek is still amazing for coding and other agentic stuff. But the solution from Anthropic with CoWork and also Opus 5.5 .. crazy! As crazy as crazy gets! In less than a week, I've already released: - RWID/OS Operating System - The conventional RWID Platform - The WebOS RWID Platform (this one is already 90% done from DeepSeek, you know) - This life-flow Platform - Etc etc etc etc etc It's been so much fun that I work with two machines: MacMini and iMac. At first just MacMini, but once agentic ran 3 projects .. it started lagging. So, the iMac was brought in and operated with Tailscale and tmux there. I also split CoWork between the iMac and MacMini Bottom line: if there's any time when one of these two machines isn't working .. I feel like I'm losing out big time. Why? Claude Max USD 200 x 5 seats! Per month For 1 year! Masya Allah The help has been so tangible. Alhamdulillah Hard work RWID
#92 tech 6 days ago My first Linux was LFS: Linux From Scratch When Ubuntu first came to campus --1998--, I immediately opened its kernel source code in ViM: I was really fascinated. From there, the desire to make my own Operating System was always there: I wanted to follow in Linus's footsteps, which started with learning Minix. Back when I worked at Gameloft (I was in the 2nd batch; the first batch included Mas Dewantoro), I changed the shell of Windows 7 (?) to emacs. Made it fullscreen and removed the Windows taskbar: it felt like having an operating system that was entirely my favorite text editor! Now, RWID, designed as a web OS, reminded me again of that old desire: to make my own operating system. Sure, not the Kernel. Just the shell. https://lnkd.in/gEaGc6Hj So, since yesterday I've started discussing and pouring out ideas and directing Opus 5.5 to start: use a Fedora Atomic core, so that the core of the OS (kernel and systemd etc.) is immutable. The rest is RWID-Shell + Learning Kit. My train of thought is simple: Mas Nadiem Makarim's idea for bringing IT skills to remote areas is right. It's just that for some reason the choice was ChromeOS. Because that means the OS practically just becomes office tools. Why not make our own OS/distro complete with tools to produce digital workers + remote workers whose mindsets are educated starting from elementary school? This OS must be complete with all the toolchains to develop mobile + frontend + backend + ethical hacker + VA + Designer. Because, once the laptops distributed to students are installed with this RWID/OS, then the moment they're opened ... voila. They can immediately work on any remote job, without needing to bother downloading all sorts of stuff. And it's already preloaded with Open Code + Claude. Then it's just up to the government to partner with them to subsidize AI. Oh yes, RWID/OS is also equipped with Ecobook, which becomes a smart teacher offline. With this vision, I'm developing RWID/OS. It started with refactoring the OS shell from the RWID web, which I named ecOS. https://lnkd.in/gRVVaVD9 It works! So the discussion continued to really use ecOS as the shell of its own operating system. The first step is developing our own Compositor: window management must be native, because the content from RWID apps is actually just html + css + js. If we don't make our own compositor, it won't be seamless. With our own compositor, later Zoom and the ecobook Mastering Agentic AI will be hard to tell apart—which is native and which is html. Because both are first-class netizens in this RWID/OS windowing system. Version 0.1 as a proof of concept was successfully realized! https://lnkd.in/gZYtafAVSaya I looked ahead again: " What about the remote worker hub idea I once thought of to push remote work across all of Indonesia?" After pondering, I think the abundant Kopdes can have their assets used. Then, Indonesia will produce many independent digital talents! #91 tech 1 year, 3 months, 5 days ago For those still in denial about AI that will be able to cut off hundreds of thousands of programmers worldwide, take a look at this link: I put together the medium like feature on this RWID platform in a matter of hours, from after Subuh prayer at 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. And even then, not working nonstop. It took about 23 prompts. This is still not optimal, because it did create SQL table creation that calls the table before it's created. This RWID as a whole was also built with AI. Ups and downs at the start because the tech and approach used weren't right yet, but eventually I found the deadly combination: Cursor Ultra, USD 200/month. If anyone is still making mistakes in using AI .. then that's definitely because AI is positioned as an assistant. That's wrong. The correct way:" We are AI assistants who help explain to the AI what you want it to make, where it will do everything: 99,999%!" The world has gone crazy ... https://lnkd.in/gCsJ7Grg in
#90 tech 1 year, 7 months, 18 days ago Using a combination of:- Netlify- Github- Supabase- NextJS- Firebase Auth + Realtime Seems like this can already be a low cost and high quality tech solution. If a microservice model is going to be used here, it's just that each next.js app provides its /pages/api. Truly fully in the cloud, without needing to think about many things. https://sminar.id in
