Podcast 18. Strategies for Moving to Remote Work for 9to5 Workers
You can’t just wing it for this, you know. Because if you’re careless, either your path will get narrower, or you yourself won’t be able to start remote work at all. https://lnkd.in/fVAb--9
This is indeed reality, which might be hard for you to choose. Namely: can you work with the shadow of being fired at any time? The remote work habitat is indeed like that. But, you can overcome it.

Internship supervision with Mas Andika, a final-year student at Unsyah, Aceh.
Very promising and could become a reliable Indonesian remote worker candidate in the future.

Roughly, 2-3 months-ish going through the role as Business Owner, and I realize all my activities are divided into these four parts:- Partner - Product - User- Marketing
These four parts must have their strategies developed on a large scale / macroview, to then be broken down into small tasks / microview.
The problem is, because my core is dev, I tend to want to be involved in the microview. Creating product development strategy is fun, but I sometimes often dive into ... development. 😅Big no!
It's fun, but once I sink into those detailed technical things, I often forget that this is the implementation of the big strategy that was carefully designed beforehand.
So, yeah, goodbye dev role ... welcome ... C** ???😅 https://remoteworker.id #remotework#upwork
Practice does makes perfect!===This past month I've really enjoyed the adrenaline rush while racing on PC with my custom-built racing wheel and racing seat setup. The first time I saw racing videos on youtube (with Assetto Corsa, i
Racing, r
Factor2, Project
Cars 2, WRC 8 or Dirt Rally), I always felt skeptical: is it possible for me to race without crashing into things or going off track? Welp, ... I can! Of course, after consistently practicing daily and perfecting the correct cornering technique.
It's not easy: but it takes confidence and consistency in daily practice.
It's possible!===Done reading?
Now replace racing with coding, racing game names with programming language names (Python, PHP, Rails, Java, Graphic Design etc) What's the result?
Well, it's the same, right?
Good luck! https://remoteworker.id
